About Carol
Carol is a Boston University medical student who is currently completing a clinical research fellowship in dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital before returning for her final year of medical school. She is involved with a variety of clinical trials aimed at evaluating new therapies for a broad spectrum of skin diseases including psoriasis, rosacea and acne. She has been published in several dermatology journals as well as written articles for the dermatology chapter of eMedicine.com. She is interested in pediatric dermatology and believes in early prevention of skin cancer through education. She is involved with the Melanoma Foundation of New England to increase sun protection awareness and is also an active member of the Dermatology Interest Group at Boston University School of Medicine. Carol is originally from Vancouver, Canada, and came to Boston for undergraduate and medical school. Her interests outside of school include cooking, baking, and skiing (especially in Whistler)
