I first encountered the Lotion Puff* when it was recommended to a patient by a dermatologist with whom I worked with in clinic. I think that this invention is genius. A simple idea, but genius nonetheless. For obvious reasons, most people are unable to apply creams, lotions, and ointments to their back. This is of little concern, unless you have an irritating skin condition (such as eczema) on your back. The Lotion Puff is a way to self-treat this affliction, without relying on others and without enduring undue discomfort. I am not sure if it has been tried or how effective it would be, but this may be a good way to apply sunscreen to your back as well!
